Lol at the "silent one". But, I've had a mic the whole time. The problem is that whenever I plug it into my wheel, it causes everyone to echo to the point where conversation is impossible and it picks up every noise in the room, from the game to people walking. I'm not sure whether the wheel or the mic is the problem.

try with a regular controller then. It is good to talk for passing situations seeing as we don't have a spotter in game.
